Matisyahu moved the house at the City National Grove of Anaheim on August 9, 2011. Yehuda Solomon of Moshav made a guest appearance and Dub Trio backed Matis. Really fun and a blessing to shoot this one!

Los Angeles has a long Jewish history. On October 10, 2010, I visited some of the historic sites along with members of my Temple Beth Sholom family. We were guided by a member of the Jewish Historical Society of Southern California. It was interesting to see the Judeo-Christian mix at the Welsh Presbyterian Church, formerly the Sinai Temple. It was really incredible to see the contrast between the ruined folksy beauty of the Breed Street Shul and the grandeur of the majestic Wilshire Boulevard Temple.

Went up to Washington to see my very favorite band The Wallflowers during their summer tour. They're on the road promoting their new compilation cd Collected: 1996-2005; it contains lots of great Wallflowers tunes you know and love! Getting to shoot your favorite band is about as fun as it gets! Thanks to Jakob Dylan and Fred Eltringham and Greg Richling (and Stuart Mathis and Bill Appleberry too). They are a great bunch of really talented and really nice guys. Make sure to pick up the album and catch them on tour!

at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA. 3-25-09 Not only is James talented, he's very nice. He's also very funny. Near the end of the evening, he slipped in a pair of horrible fake teeth. You'll note a very scary image that looks like something out of a horror film. That was taken when James and his scary teeth jumped right into my face. It's a miracle I lived to get the shot!
